This Sunday Logan was invited to a “cow party” for his buddy Sam who was turning 2. It was a lot of fun. It was requested that we dress in farm attire. Logan hasn’t worn overalls in such a long time; I forgot how cute they are. We even put a handkerchief in his back pocket, (it only stayed in because he didn’t know it was there). My friend Kim really knows how to host a party. She had all the bases covered from kid friendly snacks to very tasty adult snacks. One of my favorites was the parmesan and blue cheese biscuit bites. She even made a delicious cake without eggs to accommodate her adorable niece, Princess Molly (dressed as a princess) food allergy to eggs. The kids even made cow pattys (which was crumbled cake in a pail with a shovel, very creative).
Look at our babies, as they have grown over the past few years.
Sam, Logan and Aiden, have been friends since birth, I know it sounds strange but the three of us started them on play dates at just nearly a few months old. Logan and Aiden are just 6 weeks apart. Stephanie and I were both on maternity leave at the same time, one of my first outings after Logan’s birth was with the 4 of us heading to Target and then to lunch. They both sat so quietly in their carriers as we enjoyed lunch. Let us try that now….huh? No chance.
